CIC Group Insurance Jobs Relationship Officer

To source and grow the Corporate Life business portfolio by acquiring profitable group business through brokers and ensure that new business revenue budgets are achieved.

Responsibilities for the Relationship Officer Job

  • Ensuring that production targets are met;
  • Establishing a working and sustainable relationship with brokers;
  • Providing competitive quotations to brokers and clients;
  • Providing product training to brokers;
  • Doing marketing presentations to brokers and clients;
  • Joint calls on clients with respective brokers;
  • Recommending commission levels and incentives for brokers;
  • Market research with regards to corporate products;
  • Participates in product development;
  • Promoting the company brand;
  • Profit management of the portfolio.

Relationship Officer Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other related field
  • Up to three (3) years’ relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Computer literate in MS Office and other office applications
  • Understanding of the working environment /competitors
  • Technical competence in insurance

  • Business planning and implementation
