1. Medical Delegate

Purpose of the job:
To provide scientific information to Health Care Professionals on Nestle Infant Nutrition products in the assigned territory and develop relationships/ partnerships with medical/paramedical contacts and institutions through effective scientific communication. 

Key Responsibilities will be to;

  • Deliver agreed KPIs  set by Field Management
  • Business Development:
    • Being reliable source of scientific  information for IN  products;
    • Seek and build strategic relations with Key Contacts & KOLs who can facilitate  business development;
    • Identify Health Care Professionals needs in given territory and ensure optimum  service levels;
    • Recommend scientific activities for potential contacts.
       
  • Undertake issues management and problem solving:
    • Identification of issues preventing performance in the territory and provide solutions;
    • Monitoring of progress made and the ability to change strategies to achieve objectives;
    • Assisting with the implementation of the WHO Management System; 
  • Territory Management;
    • Maintenance of an updated master list, monitor agreed call frequency, thus ensuring efficiency of coverage;
    • Plan and execute coverage by means of a regularly updated call cycle, maintain cycle detailing;
    • Conduct periodic trade checks to ensure Code compliance.
       
  • Ensures that adherence to the provisions of WHO International Code of marketing breast milk substitutes including making sure that she/he has no direct contact with the mothers.
     
     The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum skills and competencies;
  • Degree in Human Health, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Nutrition/Dietetics/ Biological Sciences or equivalent from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 2 years in similar role;
  • Strong professional detailing skills;
  • Ability to deal closely with contacts and build strong, sustainable relationships;
  • Knowledge of the Nutrition industry in the local market including products, competitor awareness, KOL’s;
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.

2. Field Operation Managers

Purpose of the job:

To deliver the business goals for Medical Field Operations within a defined geography for a given portfolio of brands, by ensuring full understanding and execution of brand, customer, account plans and tactics.

Key Responsibilities will be to;

  • Manage Medical Field Managers;
  • Set up and strengthen field operations and establish low cost filed operations;
  • Establish and maintain relations with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), and other stakeholders;
  • Grow Nutrition business by tapping potential health institutions and establish network of Health Care Professionals, (HCPs) in the countries;
  • Ensure and establish effective medical communication in cooperation with marketing and medical management;
  • Optimise Product Fixed Marketing Expenses for field Operations;
  • Ensure WHO Code training & refresher by all medical representatives as well as compliance of WHO Code Management System policy by team and stake holders within company.

 

The ideal candidate should possess the following minimum skills and competencies;

  • Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics/Science or equivalent from a recognized University.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Medical Field Force Management, with 2 years supervisory experience;
  • Experience in pharma or from a consumer over the counter company is mandatory;
  • Good area management, project management, planning and execution skills;
  • Independently managed top health officials in developing and building long-term relationships;
  • Knowledge of the Nutrition industry in the local market including products, competitor awareness, KOL’s;
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Experience working in the multiple countries will be an advantage;
  • Strategic and forward thinking with good problem-solving skills.
