Job Description

DUKAPAQ specializes in offering a feature-packed product, a mobile PoS integrated loyalty and rewards platform. Our focus is on providing tried-and-tested technological solutions tailored specifically for small businesses, which constitute a significant portion of Kenya’s consumer trade. However, we go beyond being just a mobile PoS solution

Position Overview:

We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated Account Manager to join our team as our first hire in this role. As an early-stage startup, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client relationships, defining our customer success strategies, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client inquiries, feedback, and escalations.

 

Customer Success Strategy:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement customer success strategies.
  • Define and monitor key success metrics to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

 

Revenue Growth:

  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Work closely with the sales team to expand revenue streams and meet targets.

 

Product Knowledge and Training:

  • Deep understanding of our product/service offerings.
  • Provide clients with training and support to maximize their value from our solutions.

 

Feedback and Insights:

  • Gather and relay client feedback to the product and engineering teams for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2 years+ of experience in account management, customer success, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent time-management abilities.
  • Adaptability and willingness to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
