Summary

We are looking for an Account Specialist to join Bolt Business in Nairobi, Kenya. You’ll be working closely with the existing client portfolio, to meet their needs and understand how we can grow their business with a rapidly developing Bolt Business solution.

In this role you’ll get plenty of exposure to businesses of various sizes, you’ll be integral to the smooth running of the relationship, meeting the needs of our clients and integrating newly added solutions into their daily operations.

Your daily adventures will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients, proactively contacting them and helping them
  • Replying to client queries, replying to emails, calls and solving their challenges
  • Creating account plans to grow volumes from existing clients including upselling new solutions
  • Preparing and managing the flow of accounting documents and and solving issues related to payments
  • Assisting the sales team with onboarding and client management
  • Communicating with an international team to solve local issues
  • Delivering volume growth each month
  • Proactively finding ways to effectively impact growth of dedicated client portfolio using automations via various communications channels

About you:

  • At least 1 years of successful previous experience as a Account Manager or similar roles, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and the local language
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Proven ability to upsell and generate volume growth from existing clients
  • Comfortable in speaking with clients, dealing with issues and generating positive outcomes
  • A self starter, keen, ambitious and hungry to get results
