Audit Preparation and Compliance:

• Prepare and present financial statements for external annual audits and tax audits.
• Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of noncompliance.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Create, prepare, and summarize financial status and transaction reports for taxes, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders.
• Analyze financial information, summarize financial status, and alert management of any discrepancies.

Forecasting and Budgeting:

• Prepare revenue projections and forecast expenditure.
• Support business processes, accounting policies, and prepare corresponding documentation.

Regulatory and Legal Compliance:

• Comply with all local and national legal requirements and legislation.
• Take part in financial standards-setting processes.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):

• Create, review, and roll out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accounting policies, business processes, and regulations.

Team Leadership and Training:

• Supervise the accounting department, junior employees, and accounting assistants.
• Measure and report on the performance of the accounts team.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience.
