Job Description

Frank Management Consult Ltd is an international management consulting agency. We work with major companies, raising their performance, driving their strategies and enhancing their productivity.

Job Brief

Responsible for day-to-day assistance and guidance in preparation, review and analysis of financial statements and other financial reports to ascertain their accuracy, completeness and conformance with professional, statutory and Company accounting standards.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Promptly examines and analyses all financial records upon their receipt to confirm that they are accurate and a complete account of the respective transactions.
  • Promptly prepares and posts all financial records into the Company’s accounting system to ensure that financial records are up-to-date at all times.
  • Generates periodic and ad hoc financial reports to facilitate the making of financial decisions.
  • Monitors compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure that the Company does not incur any penalties and/or fines on account of non-compliance.
  • Facilitates supplier payments in a timely manner to ensure business continuity devoid of interruptions arising from non-payment to suppliers.
  • Analysis the Company’s business operations, revenue, costs, financial obligations and commitments to ensure that unnecessary expenses are avoided.
  • Assists in the preparation, maintenance and analysis of budgets and variances to facilitate decision-making.
  • Carries out account reconciliation on regular basis to ensure that internal cash register matches with the relevant bank statement.
  • Develops and maintains an effective filing system and record keeping for all financial information to ensure that historical data can be quickly retrieved without compromising on confidentiality.
  • Assists on coordinating all statutory audits and, when required, independently handles the audits.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce (Finance) or related field plus a professional qualification e.g. CPA (K).
  • Very good knowledge of current accounting standards and statutory regulations
  • At least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role. Plastic manufacturing experience will be preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Good understanding accounting principles.
  • Good understanding of Business Finance.
  • Excellent MS Excel skills and demonstrated competency in working with at least one accounting software.
  • Good record management skills.
  • Ability to work under minimum supervision.
  • An eye for details.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be of high integrity.
