The STRABAG Group’s international activities executed by its subsidiaries STRABAG International GmbH and ZBLIN International GmbH comprise Transportation Infrastructures (roads, railways, airports and test tracks for the automobile industry), Building Construction (turnkey construction, industrial facilities) and Civil Engineering (bridges, dams, hydraulic asphalt engineering, tunnelling, pipe jacking and microtunnelling, cooling towers and harbour facilities).

Tasks

• Managing all monthly accounting functions in general ledger as:
• Entry, editing and posting of creditor and debtor invoices.
• Reconciliation of supplier statement
• Bank and cash payment voucher.
• Support in iTax filling (VAT, Withholding Tax, PAYE and other tax matters)
• Support in preparation of Cash and Bank balances and cash flow forecast.
• Support during financial and annual audit.
• Support in preparation of monthly and yearly closing report.
• Support in Controlling functions.
• Support the Financial Team in other Tasks and grow into tasks beyond accounting.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Accounting/Finance
• 3-5 Years Experience

Knowledge And Skills

• Knowledge in IFRS standard and reporting and with strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellence in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in other MS365 tools
• Practical experience with either SUN Accounting Software or Microsoft Dynamics is of advantage.
• Quick learner and able to collaborate effectively.
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili (Spoken, Written)
• Knowledge of German as additional skill is always appreciated in a German Group, but no condition.
• Ability to work independently and with less supervision.
• Self-controlling work attitude and claim to excellence.
• Ability to handle workload in monthly and annual closings work.
• Strive to learn and improve yourself as well as your work processes
