Are you a numbers wizard with a passion for precision and problem-solving? Chambers Federation is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team! Dive into the heart of finance, where your expertise will be valued, and your contributions will make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Compile and present financial reports, budgets, and reconcile financial statements
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial documents, as well as their compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Assist with company tax returns
  • Offer guidance on cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and profit maximization
  • Monitor spending and budgets
  • Assist with analyzing of financial performance
  • Manage income and expenditure accounts
  • Conduct financial forecasting and risk analysis assessments
  • Maintain and update the QuickBooks accounting software
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of proven work experience in the stated role
  • CPA(K) certification is required
  • Knowledge in financial engineering i.e. Financial projections and analysis
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and good time management skills
  • Enhanced numerical and quantitative skills
  • Experience with QuickBooks Accounting software
  • Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Strong reporting and research skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Strong computer skills in Excel and Word
  • Knowledge in financial engineering i.e. Financial projections and analysis
