Job Description

Armaan Limited has been serving the East African sector since 1995 distributing leading natural health supplements and natural body care products from trusted brands.

Accounts Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with audits.
  • Maintain and update accounting databases and spreadsheets.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal departments regarding payments and queries.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Carry out inventory spot checks and query discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or CPA/ACCA.
  • Experience in audit is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability in previous roles
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role or audit.
  • Proficiency in accounting software is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Integrity and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Team player
