Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in a business-related field, demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel, and hold at least a CPA Level 1 certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivable data.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date, researching and resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Generate and send out invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and maintain various reports related to accounts receivable activities.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure accuracy and integrity of data.
  • Assist in month-end closing processes, including preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve outstanding issues and facilitate timely payment collection.
  • Maintain documentation and records in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to streamline accounts receivable operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, formulas).
  • CPA Level 1 certification or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Prior experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles is advantageous
