Job Description

KEDA Kenya Ceramics Company Limited is a joint venture with presence in West Africa and East Africa and is headquartered in China. Currently KEDA is the Africa’s biggest ceramic company and clean coal gasification system supplier. With 30 years’ continuous development, devoting on “limitless innovation and pursuit of better forever”, KEDA has been the leading representative in the ceramic industry in the world. KEDA (Kenya) Ceramics was incorporated in 2016 by KEDA CLEAN ENERGY and SUNDA INTERNATIONAL, and has two factories in Kenya, one located in the vicinity of Umma University, Kajiado, and the other one located in Kisumu. The latter’s official opening was presided by Prof. Anyang’ Nyong’o

ROLE SUMMARY:

Oversee administrative duties and functions in the company.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee all administrative duties and functions within the department and company. b) Food supplier’s management.
  • Kitchen and security staff management.
  • Oversee general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining supplies records.
  • Incharge of insurance matters relating to the company.
  • Conduct research, compile data and prepare reports for consideration by management.
  • Any other duties assigned by the management.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND OTHER WORK HISTORY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree/Masters in Business Administration, Project Management or relevant to the position.
  • More than 5 years’ experience in a senior managerial administrative position with experience working with government & private sector offices such as NTSA, KRA, KeNHA and others. Preferably worked in a manufacturing/production setup.

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

  • Proficient in word, excel, powerpoint and good analytical skills.
  • Good decision-making skills and analytical skills.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate a team. Good managerial skills.
  • Able to work within deadlines and flexible work schedule (Monday to Saturdays).
