Job Description

Job Summary: 

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Administrative/Sales/Marketing Associate to join the restaurant. This role is a unique blend of administrative tasks, sales activities, and marketing initiatives, aimed at promoting and enhancing the restaurant’s reputation and revenue.

Responsibilities

Administrative Tasks:

  • Manage daily office operations, including handling phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries.
  • Coordinate reservations, manage seating arrangements, and maintain an organized booking system.
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering and restocking supplies.
  • Prepare reports, manage filing systems, and assist in financiarecord-keeping.
  • Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Sales Activities:

  • Welcome and engage with guests, ensuring exceptionacustomer service and a positive dining experience.
  • Upselrestaurant offerings, such as speciamenus, wine selections, and events.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen staff to understand daily specials and recommend them to guests.
  • Process customer payments and provide accurate bills, addressing any concerns professionally.

Marketing Initiatives:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase restaurant visibility and attract a diverse clientele.
  • Maintain and update the restaurant’s sociamedia profiles, including posting engaging content and responding to comments.
  • Assist in creating promotionamaterials such as flyers, posters, and online advertisements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute speciaevents and promotions.

Guest Relations:

  • Create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
  • Gather feedback from guests and relay it to the management team for continuous improvement.
  • Handle guest complaints and concerns with empathy and professionalism, aiming for swift resolutions.

Cross-FunctionaCollaboration:

  • Work closely with the culinary and service teams to ensure seamless communication and cooperation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales departments to align messaging and promotion efforts.
  • Support the restaurant’s overallobjectives by contributing to team meetings and brainstorming sessions.

Qualification & Experience

Education

  • High schoodiploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus).

Experience

  • Proven experience in administrative tasks, customer service, sales, or marketing, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in using office software and sociamedia platforms.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for fine dining, food, and hospitality.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
