Air Logistics Perishable Customer Care Specialist

How you create impact

  • Collecting data in terms of expected volumes from our customers.
  • Arranging booking reservations with relevant airlines depending on forecast received from customers in Kaplog.
  • Updating customers on status of their requests and where confirmed forward booking confirmations and details.
  • Attending to customers’ queries.
  • Inserting customer details on Salog system to generate Mawb’s (Master Air Waybill) / Hawb’s (House Airway Bill).
  • Preparing weekly flight bookings in Kaplog.
  • Preparing an updated daily booking for the day indicating confirmed capacity / Ulds (Unit Loadable Device) against booked capacity in Kaplog.
  • Updating platform staff on expected deliveries from concerned customers..

What we would like you to bring

  • Diploma in Supply Chain Management with a strong foundation in logistics principles and international trade. A degree in Supply chain management is preferred but not mandatory.
  • 2 – 5 years of hands-on experience in Air Logistics Operations, specializing in perishable cargo handling.
  • Proficient in processing and managing Master Air Waybills (MAWBs) and House Air Waybills (HAWBs), ensuring accurate linkage and timely closure before cut-off times.
  • Ensures alignment of shipping instructions with country-specific regulations, export compliance, and routing protocols.
  • Builds strong client relationships through responsive communication and reliable service delivery.
  • Exceptional planning, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented, agile, and quick to learn new systems and procedures.
