Job Description

Summary

MSR employees’ purpose is to enable the scriptural mandate (see D&C 20:81–83) about keeping church records. Provide seasoned analytical assistance to MLU core work, including support to priesthood leaders and other church departments, providing reports for church administration purposes in support to mission and vision of the Area Presidency.

Responsibilities

  • Contact local leaders to resolve pending items related to membership and financial records.
  • Train and support local leaders on LCR, Confidential Records process, boundaries and leadership change, membership audits, follow up quarterly membership reports, resolves reporting inconsistencies in quarterly reports, update leaders on area and HQ communications  etc.
  • Analyze local unit performance in regards to finance and membership records. Help units to update and maintain membership records to acceptable standards.
  • Follow-up on the submission of unit financial and membership reports.
  • Generate administrative reports from church systems.

Qualifications

Must be worthy of a Temple Recommend

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Four years of related professional work experience.
  • Working and knowledge of PCs, networks, Computer MS applications and ERP related programs.
  • Advance proficiency in  Excel.
  • Working knowledge of the Church’s administrative procedures and tools
  • Extensive understanding of policies, processes, and guidelines.
  • Exceptional analytical, planning and training presentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
