Job Description

Founded in 2014, Crestwood Marketing and Communication is an integrated marketing communications Agency that elevates brands above their competition, delivering marketing and PR services that improve sales, increase brand awareness and grow organizations.

Summary

Are you a visionary with a knack for bringing creative concepts to life? Do you have a passion for leading design teams and crafting visually stunning projects? If so, we want you to join our dynamic team as an Art Director.

Responsibilities

  • Concept Development: Collaborate with creative teams to develop visual concepts and ideas that align with the project’s objectives.
  • Design Leadership: Guide and oversee the design process, ensuring that all visual elements are cohesive and on-brand.
  • Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within scope.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with copywriters, graphic designers, multimedia producers and other creative professionals to bring concepts to life.
  • Client Communication: Present ideas and concepts to clients, incorporating their feedback into the final design.
  • Quality Control: Review and approve designs, artwork, photography, and graphics to ensure high standards of quality.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate contemporary styles and techniques into projects.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure that all visual materials align with the brand’s identity and guidelines.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any design-related issues that arise during the project.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and provide guidance to junior designers and other team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an Art Director or in a similar role within an agency setting.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and innovative design solutions.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Ability to think strategically and translate client needs into compelling visual designs.
  • Strong understanding of branding, typography, color theory, and layout principles.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Passion for mentoring and developing junior talent.
