Job Description

Today, Pwani Oil Product modern state of the art factory at Jomvu, Mombasa, has expanded and has a capacity to refine over 620 metric tonnes of oil a day, prepared to the highest international standards. Adding to this, Pwani Oil Products new production facility at Kikambala has impacted the washing and cleaning industry with excellent laundry and bathing soaps, which is to the highest quality. Assistant Executive- Data & Strategy

What They’ll Do

  • Analyze primary and secondary sales performance across regions, channels, and product categories.
  • Monitor sales trends, product availability, route-to-market effectiveness, and sales team productivity.
  • Evaluate trade promotions, sales activities, and return on investment (ROI) to improve commercial performance.
  • Develop and maintain commercial dashboards and management reports using tools such as Excel and Power Bl.
  • Support business planning, commercial projects, and strategy execution through data-driven insights.
  • Monitor operational costs, fleet utilization, and resource efficiency within the commercial team.
  • Coordinate regulatory licensing and support customer compensation processes. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other departments to improve business performance

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Python for data analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, manage time effectively, and adapt to changing business needs.
