Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Stock Controller to support our inventory management processes. The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in a business-related field, demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and inventory management systems, and hold a CPA qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder points to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock counts with system records.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and logistics, to optimize inventory management processes.
  • Generate reports on inventory status, stock turnover, and inventory-related expenses as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts related to inventory management.
  • Provide support during inventory counts and year-end audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and inventory management systems.
  • CPA qualification or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Prior experience in inventory management or related roles is advantageous.
