Job Description

Summit Recruitment & Search was established in 2009 to address the recruitment, mass recruitment, executive search, outsourcing and training needs of companies based in Kenya or wanting to enter the Kenyan, East African, South African and African market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adapt and execute integrated marketing plans shared by the brand team to promote product launches, seasonal campaigns, and brand initiatives.
  • Negotiate and implement trade plan with local retailers
  • Lead the local production of marketing campaigns elements according to brand guidelines
  • Conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends and opportunities.
  • Build and implement the media plan in close collaboration with the brand team
  • Identify and propose to brand opportunities for Public Relation, local influencers, according to the objectives and guidelines shared by the brand
  • Plan and execute luxurious events and product launches that generate buzz and elevate the brand’s image.
  • Manage, follow, and respect budgets for marketing campaigns, events, and other promotional activities validated by the brand
  • Communicate Wholesale and Sell-Out performances monthly, perform analysis and action plans
  • Control of the image of the brand in the area, share the relevant information’s (counterfeits, parallel market, judicial liquidation, etc.)
  • Establishment of authorized retailer contracts and general sales conditions with retailers, control of the quality criteria of the points of sale in accordance with the brand guidelines

Key skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience working in branding, with a luxury brand.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to make data-driven decisions and capitalize on market trends.
  • A keen eye for aesthetics, innovative ideas, and the ability to think outside the box to find new ways to stand out in the respect of the brand DNA and luxury standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey the brand’s story and message to the target audience.
  • A team player who fosters a positive work environment, encourages collaboration, and values input from team members.
  • A genuine passion and understanding of the luxury industry, along with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, quality, and exclusivity.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling challenges with grace and determination.
  • Awareness of international markets and cultural nuances to tailor marketing strategies for a diverse global clientele.
