Job Description

Migori Teachers College is a government owned and operated Teacher Training College offering the standard 2 year Primary Teacher Education certificate course on a full time basis.

MTTC/BUR/2024/1 (Job Group ‘J’)

Summary

The bursar will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining proper books of accounts and processing of the annual budget among other responsibilities.

Requirements.

  • Be a Kenyan citizen aged 45 years and below.
  • Mean grade C (Plain) in KCSE or its equivalent.
  • Diploma in Finance, Accounting or Business Management from a recognized institution
  • Certified Public Accountant- (CPA — K)
  • Must be registered with ICPAK
  • Served in a similar position for at least three years.
  • Must have knowledge of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS)
  • Knowledge of ERP operations.
