Job Description

CDL was founded in early 2003 by its current Managing Director Lucy Mmari.Within her 14 year tenure in a well established logistics company, She honed her skill in human resources management and thereafter started CDL.

Job Summary:

Sell, manage, develop, and penetrate our client’s products and services to SME customers within the appointed area. Identify and execute sales opportunities to maximize revenue growth.

Key Roles:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage relationships with clients.
  • Directly sell products to clients.

Team Size: No direct or indirect reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet sales targets.
  • Execute sales growth plans.
  • Contribute to cost savings.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell products.
  • Understand customer business needs.
  • Analyze customer and sales metrics.
  • Resolve escalated customer issues.
  • Forecast and plan sales.
  • Ensure contract adherence.
  • Align with marketing and branding.
  • Grow customer and partner footprint.
  • Monitor sales segments.
  • Provide growth insights.
  • Maintain communication channels.
  • Support sales administration.
  • Assist finance with collections.
  • Adhere to governance policies.
  • Pursue self-development.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices.
  • Understand client products and services.

Principal Outputs:

  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Prevent customer churn.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • CIM Membership is a plus.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years in Sales and Marketing, IT Sales Management, Business Administration, or Relationship Management.
