Job Description

Gap Recruitment Services Limited is a leading recruitment firm in Kenya where International and local companies find just the right fit talent.

 Purpose: 

Our client is a well-established and renowned chain of hardware stores, seeking to hire a Business Analyst. The ideal candidate for this role should have a proven track record of success in business analysis or similar roles. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with large amounts of data are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with hardware business operations and market trends is also desirable.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Conducting market research and analyzing industry trends to identify new business opportunities and threats.
  • Analyzing the financial performance of the hardware business, including sales, expenses, and profits, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing business plans and strategies to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for business initiatives.
  • Identifying and tracking key performance indicators, creating reports and dashboards, and presenting findings to senior management.
  • Providing data-driven insights and recommendations to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Conducting cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies to evaluate the potential impact of new projects and initiatives.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the business.
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and market conditions to inform business decisions and strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a managerial role.
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal kills.
  • Highly result driven.
