Job Description

Summary

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities to drive revenue growth and enhance the overall success of our hotel.

Responsibilities:

Market Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities for business expansion.
  • Analyze customer feedback and industry data to make informed decisions about new business strategies.

Business Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set realistic and achievable business development goals.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other key stakeholders.
  • Implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and maximize occupancy rates.

Promotional Activities:

  • Plan and execute promotional activities to increase the hotel’s visibility and attract new customers.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling promotional materials and campaigns.

Negotiation and Contracts:

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the hotel.
  • Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with existing clients.
  • Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
  • Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to business strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of hotel operations, services, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
