Job Description

Summit Recruitment & Search was established in 2009 to address the recruitment, mass recruitment, executive search, outsourcing and training needs of companies based in Kenya or wanting to enter the Kenyan, East African, South African and African market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target potential clients in various industries and sectors who may require audit services.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the firm’s audit capabilities and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and subject matter experts to develop tailored solutions.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to generate leads and enhance the firm’s visibility.
  • Track and report on business development activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles within the audit, accounting, or professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of the audit industry, including knowledge of audit methodologies, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Track record of successfully identifying and closing new business opportunities, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and industry professionals.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong internal relationships.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
