Job Description

The Nani Employee Leasing Company (Nani EL) is an employer professional organization focusing mainly on leasing out low and medium cadre staff in all sectors of the economy. Specifically, Nani EL deploys well trained domestic assistants, nursery school assistants, office assistants and factory cleaners to its individual and corporate clients.

Business & Operations Support Intern

About the Role

  • We are looking for a proactive, people-oriented and tech-savvy Business & Operations Support Intern to join our team in Nairobi.
  • This is a hands-on role that will provide exposure to business development, client support, HR and recruitment, administration, payroll support, and business systems.
  • We are looking for someone who is flexible, eager to learn, comfortable working with people and technology, and willing o take on different responsibilities as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support business development activities, including identifying and following up with potential clients.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Support recruitment, interviews, onboarding, and placement of domestic staff.
  • Assist with client monthly payments and related records.
  • Support staff payroll preparation and administration.
  • Maintain accurate employee and client records on the HR Information System.
  • Provide general HR and administrative support.
  • Assist with day-to-day business operations and follow up on assigned tasks.
  • Use and support digital systems, spreadsheets, databases, and other business tools.
  • Prepare basic reports, correspondence, and administrative documents.
  • Assist the team with other duties as required.

Requirements

  • A female above 25 years
  • diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Good computer and digital skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and other business applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous internship, attachment, or experience in HR, administration, customer service, recruitment, sales, or business development is an advantage.

Internship Terms & Conditions

Monthly stipend: KSh 10,000.

Official work-related transport outside the normal workplace will also be facilitated by the company.

This is an internship position and not a salaried employment position.

The internship will be subject to agreed working hours, responsibilities, duration, and terms, which will be communicated to the successful candidate.
