ENKAVILLA Properties limited is a registered real estate limited company based in Kenya that offers leading real estate services

Overview

We are seeking a responsible and experienced property caretaker to oversee the maintenance of our properties. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills and be capable of performing a variety of tasks to ensure the property is well-maintained with seamless operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and security concerns.
  • Artisan; Troubleshooting minor repair and maintenance works
  • Follow up on routine maintenance as and when due, reporting on repairs as and when they arise. • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and inventory
  • Coordinate with external contractors for routine service delivery e.g garbage collection etc
  • In liaison with property manager, collection and follow up of Service Charge payment proof from owners.
  • Ensure the security of the property by monitoring surveillance systems and implementing appropriate security measures.
  • Respond promptly to any emergencies or security breaches.
  • Submission of daily reports to the Property Manager.
  • Attending to all complaints lodged by residents and escalate as appropriate. • Ensure that all emergency equipment is ready to use at all times.
  • Take water meter readings and forward them to the property manager for billing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Certificate / Diploma in property management
  • Proven experience in property maintenance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of basic maintenance techniques, including minor plumbing and electrical.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Availability to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours, if needed.
  • Experience using maintenance tools and equipment.
