Our Client in South Africa is looking for a Chef / Retain Trainer to work in Kenya. Successful candidate would be expected to grow and manage the retail and generate growth in his/her allocated area. This role is suitable for a cook.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Successful candidate must be cook
  • Diploma in Food Technology or equivalent – Preferred
  • Clearly show  computer   literacy   experience   in   Microsoft   Office   (Word,   Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Bilingual
  • Demonstrable numerical skill Experience in a customer facing sales role
  • Give a practical exhibition and explanation of  food preparation
  • Ability to communicate easily
  • Experience in marketing

Desired Experience & Qualification

Finance

  • Able to measure own monthly performance of the RETAIL category and alter plans where

needed to be done to achieve the target.

  • To aid the aggressive growth of the RETAIL category in the allocated area by working

closely with the Key Account Manager. Goal is maximizing growth per annum.

  • To ensure that your personal business expenditure (petty’s, accommodation, travel, fuel

etc.) is reconciled and submitted for reimbursement within a day of returning from the trip

 Process

  • To implement channel marketing and selling plans for own Region which delivers high growth
  • Target driven
  • Work closely with your manager, whilst gaining insights from what is happening from HO to continue to facilitate NPD to drive ongoing innovation and market competitiveness

Customers

  • To support aggressive growth
  • To maintain and strengthen existing customers relationships (80%) and find new business (20%) through; leads follow up, cold calling, door to door sales
  • Drive H&S agenda with customers for managing safety and hygiene at all times
  • Ensure that calling cycles are established, and customers’ needs are adequately met.
  • To assist with National and Regional store promotional activities
  • To personally establish sustainable relationships with all agreed Customers in Kenya.

  • To go after a personal skills development plan which will improve your functional efficiently

  • Sales Turnovers per annum
  • Number of staff trained
  • Quality of Training provided
