Job Description

Mwananchi Credit Limited was incorporated as a private limited company under the Companies Act (Cap 486) of the Laws of Kenya. It initially started operations under the names Mwananchi Microlink Ltd which was incorporated on 15th April 2010. On 10th January 2012, it later changed its names to Mwananchi Credit Limited.

Collections Officer – Mobile Money

Key Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Management
  • Loan Repayment Negotiation
  • Targets and Campaignsl
  • Compliance
  • Loan Repayment updates
  • Good numerical accuracy and record-keeping discipline.

Must Have Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Credit Management or a related field.
  • Proficiency with auto-dialer systems, loan management/CRM systems and MS Office…
  • At least 1-2 years’ experience in debt collection, credit control or call-centre collections, preferably in microfinance, banking or mobile lending.
