Job Description

Microsoft Corporation (commonly referred to as Microsoft or MS) is an American multinational technology company headquartered in Redmond, Washington, that develops, manufactures, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics and personal computers and services.

Responsibilities

  • Deep Proactive Engagement: Lead collaborations, leverage resources, and drive strategic conversations internally and externally.
  • Strategic Selling: Develop pricing scenarios, conduct competitive analysis, and act as a trusted advisor in the sales process.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Lead sales and management teams, craft deals, handle objections, and develop deal strategies.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify business opportunities, secure upsells, and create customer-centric offers.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Drive adherence to commercial solutions policy, assess and escalate risks, and serve as a trusted advisor on compliance.
  • Negotiation Leadership: Partner with leaders to negotiate complex commercial terms and drive accountability for negotiation outcomes.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 7+ years of sales and negotiation experience (essential)
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Law, Marketing, Finance, Communication, Education (or related field) AND 5+ years of sales and negotiation experience
  • OR equivalent experience

Preferred

  • 9+ years of sales and negotiation experience
  • OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 7+ years of sales and negotiation experience
  • OR Master’s Degree AND 6+ years of sales and negotiation experience
  • OR equivalent experience
