Responsibilities:

• Required to teach students the fundamentals of computer software and hardware to learners from age 7 to 13 years in Primary level
• Planning lessons and activities that facilitate students’ acquisition of basic and advanced computer skills.
• Instructing in a manner that develops students’ confidence in their abilities.
• Preparing, invigilating and grading students’ work, quizzes and examinations.
• Keep lesson plan and meet learning objectives of the syllabus.
• Identify varying teaching methods that work best for students who learn differently.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Head Teacher on students’ performance.
• Attend parent-teacher meetings.
• Ensure that the computer lab is clean and tidy at all times.

Requirements:

• Primary Teacher Certificate / Bachelor of Education (ICT)
• Must have knowledge of a wide range of computer technologies.
• Must have understanding of computer monitors, central processing units, operating systems, hard drives and file storage.
• Prior experience as a Computer Teacher
• Registered with TSC
• Great communication and problem-solving skills
