Position

• Options Consultancy Services Ltd is a partner in the FCDO funded DESIP programme as part of technical support to the Ministry of Health, Division of Reproductive and Maternal Health is seeking to recruit a consultant with a strong background in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and specifically in Family Planning to guide the review of the 6th Edition of National Family Planning guidelines 2018.
• The main objective of this assignment is to revise the 6th edition FP guidelines (2018) to include the current and emerging evidence-based practices in offering quality FP services in line with current global standards and guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum Master’s degree in health-related field
• Experience in public health programmes, preferable SRH
• Extensive knowledge of Kenya National Reproductive and maternal health programmes
• Proven previous experience developing standards and guidelines in reproductive health.
• Previous consultancy experience with Ministry of Health, UN agencies, bilateral agencies or international NGOs.
• Knowledge/Experience of MOH systems or working with MOH.
• Available to start work immediately.
