Summary

The Content Creator position at our company offers an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals passionate about content creation and client engagement. This role involves developing engaging content, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to content strategies. This is a contractual position with ongoing opportunities for professional development

Salary Range – KES 60,000 – KES 80,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • The mission of the Content Creator at The Digital Monkeys Limited is to craft compelling and innovative content that resonates with our target audience and supports our clients’ objectives. Through creative storytelling and strategic content development, the Content Creator will engage audiences across various digital platforms, driving brand awareness and fostering meaningful connections. This role is dedicated to delivering high-quality content that captivates, educates, and inspires while consistently meeting the evolving needs of our clients and the digital landscape. Responsibilities include:
  • Content Strategy and Performance – implement content strategies aligned with client objectives, focusing on driving engagement and performance metrics. Regularly assess content performance to refine strategies and enhance audience interaction.
  • Content Planning and Execution – Create and finalize content calendars by specified deadlines, ensuring timely delivery across various platforms. Collaborate with team members to ensure content meets quality standards and resonates with target audiences.
  • Reporting and Analysis – Prepare and submit social media reports to clients by predetermined deadlines, providing valuable insights and recommendations for future content strategies. Conduct thorough analysis of content performance to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Influencer Partnerships – Support the Head of Content in identifying and nurturing strategic influencer partnerships. Collaborate with influencers to develop content that aligns with client objectives and enhances brand visibility.
  • Team Collaboration and Management – Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and effective content creation processes. Foster a collaborative environment conducive to creativity and innovation.
  • Project management – Utilize project management tools like Monday.com to streamline content workflows and ensure efficient project execution. Adhere to established processes and standards to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Team Development – Assist in the professional development of the content creation team by providing support and guidance as needed. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, sharing knowledge with team members to enhance their skills and expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in content creation and management, with a focus on social media platforms, preferably within an agency or client-centered environment.
  • Professional track record in developing engaging content, social media strategies, and executing online advertising campaigns.
  • Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Thorough understanding of social media key performance indicators (KPIs), industry trends, and content best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and proficiency in public speaking and presentations.
  • Passionate about digital marketing, technology, social platforms, and emerging media, with a solid grasp of traditional advertising principles.
  • Ability to mentor and lead a team of content creators, providing guidance, feedback, and support to ensure team success and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Capacity to swiftly analyze complex situations, anticipate customer needs, identify root causes of issues, and devise innovative solutions to address concerns.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to evolve with changing business needs and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and achieve fast-paced objectives across multiple client accounts.
