Job Summary:

As a Credit Officer with 3-5 years of experience, this position plays a critical role in managing and facilitating the credit process within our organization. The ideal candidate should possess a valid driver’s license and a riding license, as occasional travel and on-site client visits may be required. This role involves assessing creditworthiness, Collection of monthly repayments from Farmers, and ensuring compliance with Homebiogas credit Policy policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Credit Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of loan payments, approve credit checks for new farmers, and determine the suitability of applicants for payment plans.
  • Client Relations: Develop and maintain positive relationships with Farmers, providing guidance, answering queries, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Ensure all required documentation, including Contract addendums and credit reports, are complete and accurate.
  • Risk Management: Monitor existing loan portfolios to identify and mitigate potential risks and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Compliance: Stay up to date with industry regulations and internal policies, ensuring all credit activities comply with legal and organizational standards.
  • Report Generation: Prepare and submit Weekly reports on credit activities, including portfolio performance and potential areas for improvement.
  • Collection: Oversee the collection process, coordinating with borrowers to ensure timely repayment of loans.
  • Field Visits: Conduct on-site farmers visits to push for delayed payments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Credit Control, Finance Operations, Account Receivables.
  • Valid driver’s license and riding license.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Knowledge of credit risk assessment and underwriting principles.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to compliance.
