Job Description

Requirements

Education 

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (BCom, Business Management, Economics)
  • MBA is beneficial

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in project management in the carbon market (carbon capture, utilisation, and storage & DAC technologies)
  • Experience in project management in Sub-Saharan Africa is highly advantageous
  • Impressive track record of successfully leading and delivering projects to success (on time and within budget)
  • Embedded knowledge of the DAC industry highly advantageous

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of project development
  • Stakeholder engagement with both public and private entities
  • Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation plans to track project progress
  • Prepare comprehensive, engaging, and insightful reports and presentations
  • Contribute to our client’s knowledge base and expertise in novel DAC technologies, including identifying and mitigating potential risks
  • Contribute to commercial negotiations with DAC project partners during the project development phase and support in developing additional DAC deals in Kenya and the region
