Job Description

Our story began in 2010 as a small medical reference laboratory with less than 10 employees. We soon discovered that the needs of our practitioners and our clients required us to implement mobile phlebotomy. Driven by an ageing population and feedback from our clients, we started our phlebotomy division which helped us to reach more clients and fulfil their needs. In 2014, as MLDC grew in size, we expanded our testing portfolio to introduce definitive toxicology testing to accommodate the needs of our clients. Starting July of 2020, MLDC helped clients and patients during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing fast and accurate results, as soon as 8 hours for RT-PCR testing. RT-PCR, rapid PCR (results in 30 minutes), antigen, nucleoprotein antibody, spike protein antibody, and AditxtScore Immune Monitoring is available for COVID-19. In March of 2022 we expanded our in-house testing menu to include womens health, STD testing, drug testing, and urine culture. We commend ourselves to run over 90% of our routine testing in-house to ensure the best turnaround time and accuracy. We are grateful to have a diverse team of bright, knowledgeable, and caring professionals that allow us to offer state-of-the-art testing and tailored customer services.

Summary

They will be responsible for compiling and organizing healthcare data, analyzing data to assist in delivering optimal healthcare management, and communicating their findings with management.

Responsibilities

  • Using healthcare data to achieve administrative needs and goals.
  • Understanding data storage and data sharing methods.
  • Investigating data to find patterns and trends.
  • Understanding healthcare business operations.
  • Utilizing different data sources for analyses.
  • Converting data into usable information that is easy to understand.
  • Developing reports and presentations.
  • Communicating analytic insights to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, BSc. Science or any other relevant degree from a recognized institution. Proficiency with database programming languages such as SQL.
  • Proficiency with Python for data manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools.
  • Knowledge of data management applications.
  • Proficiency in managing electronic medical records.
  • Analytical mindset with good problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills
