Job Description

AJUA (Formerly mSurvey) is Africa’s first Integrated Customer Experience platform for businesses on the continent. We exist to bridge the gap between businesses and their customers. Ajua’s technology integrates with businesses at the points that matter most to their customers to measure and optimize their Customer Experience.

Data Engineer

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science/Data Engineer, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6 years of work experience directly working as a Data Engineer Customer Experience-centric and laser focused on finding solutions for demanding customers
  • Proven experience in data engineering, including building, deploying and maintaining data pipelines using tools like Prefect/Airflow, containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes, and cloud platforms, preferably AWS (S3 Buckets).
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL, with a focus on data manipulation and automation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills, especially in troubleshooting data pipelines and optimizing data architecture.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights, technical concepts, and system performance clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently within a team, contributing to the development and maintenance of data infrastructure and effective model pipeline management.
