Job Description

Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology is situated in Juja, 36 kilometres North East of Nairobi, along Nairobi-Thika Highway. It was started in 1981 as a Middle Level College (Jomo Kenyatta College of Agriculture and Technology (JKCAT)) by the Government of Kenya with the generous assistance from the Japanese Government. Plans for the establishment of JKCAT started in 1977

Applicants must possess:

 

  • PhD in Procurement / Supplies Management and
  • Three (3) years’ experience in Grade 13 or have acted as Deputy Chief Procurement Officer, Grade 14 for a considerable period of time

 

OR

 

  • Master’s Degree with a bias in Procurement / Supplies Management and
  • Five (5) years’ experience in Grade 13 or have acted as Deputy Chief Procurement Officer, Grade 14 for a considerable period of time

All applicants must be members of Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (MCIPS)
