Prestige Bluestar Holdings Ltd is seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded individual to fill the role of Deputy Director of Finance, Growth, and Strategy. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a leading property care company based in Kenya, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial trajectory and strategic direction of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of financial management including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  2. Growth Strategy: Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement growth strategies to expand market share and increase profitability. Identify new business opportunities and partnerships.
  3. Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  4. Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team. Mentor and develop staff to enhance their skills and capabilities. Act as a key liaison between departments to foster collaboration and alignment.
  5. Compliance and Taxation: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and tax obligations. Prepare and submit accurate and timely tax returns. Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders including investors, regulators, and financial institutions. Represent the company in meetings and negotiations as required.
  7. Decision Support: Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Evaluate investment opportunities and assess their potential impact on the company’s financial performance.
  8. Crisis Management: Act as a key decision-maker in the absence of the Director. Respond to and mitigate financial risks and crises as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in finance, with a focus on strategic planning and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills. Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving financial performance.
  • Knowledge of Kenyan tax laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Age between 26 and 35 years.
