Job Description

The Kenyan Alliance Insurance is a leading Insurance and Financial Services Company offering a wide range of financial products and services in insurance. The product range includes life and general insurance, pensions, investment planning, wealth management, retirement planning and medical insurance.

As part of our growth strategy, the Company seeks to recruit a dynamic, passionate, innovative and result orientated professional to the below position;

Main Purpose of the Job- (Job Summary)

The role holder is responsible for creating and maintaining the design and layout of digital sites.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintaining the website by regularly updating content and images
  • Conceptualize creative ideas for the website and digital sites.
  • Designing visual imagery for the website and digital sites to ensure that they are aligned with the brand and message.
  • Continuous testing of digital sites functionality and usability
  • Implement and optimize SEO strategies, utilizing tools like Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to enhance website visibility.
  • Design and develop the layout of print ads and marketing collaterals, digital assets (i.e. banners, website layouts, etc.) and other related design work as and when needed.
  • Provide site analytics, campaign reports and keep records of customer interactions.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions within the stipulated time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Providing proactive customer outreach through digital sales generation activities and upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
  • Tracking customer service KPI’s and metrics
  • Support of business retention through innovative post-purchase engagement initiatives.
  • Any other duty assigned

Knowledge & Experience

The candidate must demonstrate and possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT/Web Design or any other related field.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in web design or digital media
  • Exemplary verbal and written communications skills (including experience proofreading).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with a broad range of people and positions.
  • Ability to combine creativity with strategic thinking and effective project management.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Computer proficiency in online content management systems and Microsoft Office suite including Excel and Word; Working knowledge of HTML; CSS a plus.
  • Be a great problem solver. Know how to best communicate the company’s message on different platforms.
  • Strong research skills. Know what is happening in the fast changing world of social and digital media.
  •   Strong work ethic, detail-oriented.
