Director of Audit

We’re partnering with a leading Pan-African bank in Kenya to find a dynamic and strategic Director of Audit to drive excellence in risk management, compliance, and governance.

Your Impact:

  • Lead Audit Strategy – Design and implement a forward-thinking, risk-based audit framework.
  • Enhance Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure adherence to IFRS, SOX, Basel, and COSO while mitigating risks.
  • Advise & Influence – Provide strategic insights to leadership and shape key financial decisions.
  • Develop Top Talent – Mentor a high-performing team and drive a culture of integrity and innovation.
  • Leverage Technology – Utilize data analytics & automation to enhance audit effectiveness.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years in audit (5+ in leadership), ideally in banking or financial services.
  • Professional certifications (CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA) required.
  • Strong expertise in governance, risk, and internal controls with a proven track record.
  • A leadership mindset with exceptional communication & analytical skills.
