Job Description

To be a world-class film content regulator. Mission To safeguard the national values and norms through efficient, effective and professional film regulatory services. OUR MANDATE The Kenya Film Classification Board, a state corporation under the Ministry of Sports, Culture and the Arts is mandated by Films and Stage Plays Act Cap 222 of Laws of Kenya to regulate the creation, broadcasting, possession, distribution and exhibition of films in the country with a view to promote national values and morality

Responsibilities

  • Duties and Responsibilities will entail:-
  • Driving a vehicle as authorized;
  • Carrying our routine checks on the vehicles cooling oil, electrical and brake systems, tyre pressure etc.;
  • Detecting malfunctioning of vehicles system;
  • Maintenance of work tickets for vehicles assigned;
  • Ensuring security and safety of the vehicle on and off the road;
  • Overseeing safety of the passengers and/or goods therein; and
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the vehicle.

Job Specification

For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: –

  • Have KCSE mean grade D(plain) or equivalent qualification
  • Have Valid driving license free from any current endorsements and valid for any of the classes of vehicles which the officer is required to drive;
  • Have Passed the Suitability Test for Drivers Grade I from the Ministry of Roads and Public Works;
  • Have First-Aid Certificate Course lasting not less than one (1) week from St. John Ambulance or Kenya Institute of Highway and Building Technology (KIHBT) or any other recognized institution;
  • Have Valid Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya police;
  • Have general computer knowledge; and
  • Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
