JOB PURPOSE

The Job purpose is to provide secure and timely driving services. Undertaking routine checks and maintenance on the vehicle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Provide transportation for official travel and business, or as requested by management
•  Maintain high standard of service to both internal and external guest
•  Deliver payments transfers and correspondences
•  Observing the road and traffic laws and regulations.
•  Ensure that safe driving practices are adhered to including local driving codes and internally agreed standards.
•  Apply for the renewal for the vehicle license
•  Determine when and what kind of maintenance the vehicle needs, keep track of general maintenance schedules, especially car tyre condition
•  Ensure sound running of the vehicles assigned and arrange minor repairs where necessary
•  Check oil and tyres properly and keep the service vehicles in clean condition, both inside and outside
•  Keep track of timely car insurance renewals To perform any other duty as assigned in line with the Organizational goals and objectives.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

•  Valid Driving Licenses
•  Understanding of transportation law
•  Good knowledge about on Mechanical works
•  Excellent driving skills
•  Minimum 5 years’ experience as driver with good driving record
•  Experience in cooperate work environment will be an added advantage.
•  Effective communication with internal and external customers/partners
•  Experience with driving to remote locations
•  Have strong communication and team building skills with ability to work with diverse teams.
•  Resilient, Confident, and self-motivated.
