Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation and provision of Economic Planning Data;
• Carrying out Economic analysis for the county;
• Formulation of development strategies that can be adopted and used by the county;
• Taking charge of a small functional area within the Department;
• Coordinating Departmental development plans, projects, and programs;
• Reviewing development policy strategies/projects and programs;
• Performing other duties related to the field as assigned from time to time.

Requirements for Application:

• Be a Kenyan Citizen;
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, or Economics and Mathematics, or Economics and Statistics from a recognized institution;
• Demonstrate professional ability, initiative, and competence in organizing, directing, and executing work at this level;
• Must satisfy the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya;
• Be a good team player with exemplary leadership qualities, interpersonal communication, and collaborative skills;
• Must satisfy the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010.
