Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering or equivalent qualification.

Job Role

• Contract valuation and Audit of completed works.
• Electrical design evaluation of all electrical machine, builders work and panels.
• Negotiation with contractor on all electrical related jobs to ensure no budget constraints.
• Supervise electrical project team, proper engaging and delegating of manpower as well as ensuring job are effectively planned and executed.
• Ensure all electrical safety standards and practices are adhered to.
• Implementation of projects to approved standards within time and budgets.
• Provide technical support by responding to requests regarding electrical problems for all project work.
• Ensuring all drawings, manuals and records are well filed and accessible for reference.
• Ensure all electrical and measuring tools are functioning and well stored.
• Timely preparation of project technical report and documentation.
• Interpretation and making drawings using AUTOCAD and Microsoft Visio for electrical projects related activities.
• Ensure compliance with the requirements of health and safety legislations, standard procedures and practices at all times.
• Keeping maintenance logs and report on daily activities and SLA performance with Service/maintenance providers where applicable
• Optimizing machinery, equipment and utilities according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality
• Hiring, training, and evaluating performances of new employees
• Perform any other duty(ies) as will be assigned from time to time by the supervisor or management.
