Job Description

The Machakos Institute of Technology is a Limited Liability Company by shares operating as a training institution under the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology.

Electrical Engineering Trainer

The Electrical Engineering Trainer will be involved in teaching students or trainees on the theory, design, and hands-on skills of electrical systems.

Core duties include;

  • Delivering lectures and practical lab sessions
  • Preparing schemes of work and lesson plans
  • Setting and marking exams
  • Supervising student projects
  • Maintaining workshop safety
  • Updating course materials to match industry standards

 Job requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics  Engineering or
  • Bachelor of Education Technology  in Electrical and Electronics  Engineering
  • Excelent Communication skills  and strong command of the English  Language
  • Teaching experience of  3 years
  • Diploma in Technical Education from Kenya school of TVET an added advantage
