Role Purpose:

• Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and machinery in the garment factory to ensure smooth production operations, minimal downtime, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain sewing machines, cutting machines, boilers, compressors, embroidery/printing equipment, and factory power systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and ensure efficient machine performance.
• Install wiring, panels, and electrical connections for new machines and production lines.
• Monitor energy use and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, spare parts, and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and train staff on safe machine usage.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma/Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience as an electrician in manufacturing (garment/textile industry preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and manuals.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid electrical license (added advantage).

Work Conditions:

• Factory-based role, with exposure to noise, dust, and heat.
• May require overtime or weekend shifts for urgent breakdowns.
