Job Purpose

Execute and evaluate the Ngong Road Children’s Foundation (NRCF) employment strategy to ensure NRCF achieves its objective of 75% of alumni getting internships and/or job placements within six months of graduation.

The role includes:

• Identifying industries and jobs in high demand by scanning the job market for emerging trends
• Develop and Manage partnerships with local businesses, organizations, companies, and Government agencies to create economic opportunities for NRCF beneficiaries
• Working with NRCF’s postsecondary and secondary departments to identify and target students for these partnerships by offering career mentorship
• Ensuring the success of alumni job placement through job preparedness (CV writing, interview skills, and work skills

training)

Working Conditions

• Primarily the position will be based at Ngong Road Children’s Foundation offices currently located at Dagoretti Corner, Nairobi, but travel within and outside Nairobi to meet with Post-Secondary institutions, Alumni at their workplace, and potential employers will be necessary.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Science or a similar field.
• Five years’ work experience in youth employment.
