Enterprise Senior Account Executive

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new revenues by sealing partnerships with Medium to large insurers and insurance brokers in East Africa.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop a Sales territory by conducting outbound sales campaigns aimed at winning business for the company.
  • Build a healthy pipeline of business to reflect the potential for the company in the region, and work to qualify viable opportunities to close business in the medium term.
  • Meet or exceed a sales quota for net new business with the targeted customers (insurers or brokers) over the reporting period.
  • Jointly manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, with support from leadership within the organization.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on the ground, within your region, to coordinate customer engagement on sales activities; discovery, demos, proof of concepts (POCs) etc.
  • Effectively use customer relationship management (CRM) tools to manage the entire sales process, providing accurate and timely reports on deal statuses.
  • Channel feedback from the market, customers and prospects to the company, to enhance our product offering and market position.
  • Report to the CEO/Head of Sales

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of Business 2 Business sales experience, selling to Financial Services Institutions/Enterprise businesses in multiple countries in Sub-Saharan Africa.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales quota preferably in Enterprise Technology Solution Sales.
  • Highly disciplined, and self-motivated – to execute well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understands sales process and the need for timely updates.
  • Goal-getter, creative thinker & solution oriented.
  • Agile learner with a competitive spirit.
  • Knowledge of sales methodologies and frameworks such as consultative selling, MEDDIC, etc.
  • Excellent persuasive, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities.
