Job Description

We offer customer wallet solutions, digital lending, merchant acquisition, crossborder payments, and more.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  •  Maintain accurate and timely daily recordkeeping and accounting systems for loan vouchers and assigned expense vouchers.
  •  Reconcile and update accounts promptly, addressing any discrepancies efficiently.
  •  Provide financial reports and analysis to advise on management performance.
  •  Address reconciliation issues reported by the cashier and accountant teams.
  •  Act as a liaison with external parties on behalf of the managed entities.
  •  Conduct account analysis and reconciliations as required, participating in the monthend close process.
  •  Collaborate with the finance team and undertake additional duties assigned by management.
  •  Manage bank account transactions (receipts and payments) and provide daily bank reports.
  •  Attend management meetings as delegated by the Finance Manager.
  •  Offer financial advice on relevant matters.
  •  Handle tax management and administration of managed entities.
  •  Perform monthly bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
  •  Ensure all transactions are accurately captured in financial reporting, including account balances and variance reports for monthend closing.
  •  Respond to HQ reports and audits, providing necessary documents and evidence.
  •  Liaise with tax authorities regarding tax audits and correspondence.
  •  Manage monthly statutory remittances (WHT, VAT, etc.) and other financial commitments.
  •  Prepare journal vouchers for direct debits and credits on bank statements.
  •  Advise the company on implications of existing and new government monetary policies.
  •  Provide professional advice to other teams and maintain connections with regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  •  Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or audit roles.
  •  Extensive experience in fintech finance is essential.
  •  Relevant professional qualifications are mandatory.
