Finance Manager

  • Provide overall leadership and oversight of the company’s financial operations, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and objectives.
  • Develop, review, and manage annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Conduct detailed variance analysis and present clear, actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and internal reporting standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate external audit processes, ensuring readiness, accuracy, and availability of supporting documentation.
  • Maintain robust, accurate, and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Oversee daily cash flow management to guarantee adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Manage and enhance relationships with financial institutions, including negotiation of favorable banking terms.
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and credit control functions to maintain strong financial discipline.
  • Establish, implement, and monitor effective internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.
  • Identify and evaluate financial risks, and recommend mitigation strategies to safeguard company assets.
  • Oversee the preparation, review, and timely submission of all tax returns and statutory filings.
  • Ensure full adherence to KRA requirements and deadlines, while providing strategic guidance on tax planning and compliance.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and performance management for the finance team to ensure operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to promote sound financial practices and budgeting discipline.
  • Deliver financial orientation and training to non-finance staff to enhance financial awareness across the organization
