GA Trade Development Representative – Safaricom (Kenya)

Description

Sales Effectiveness

Assist in achieving Area’s Monthly, Quarterly, Semi Annually or Annual sales targets in:

  • Airtime Usage and Product Sales
  • Subscriber acquisition/connection/Gross adds
  • Availability and Penetration of Safaricom Products
  • Assist in Increasing/growing channels revenues i.e., M-PESA – Monitor Float availability and terminal availability, Fixed Wireless Access (FWA), Fibre -To -The Home (FTTH).
  • Recommend value added services and promotions.
  • Ensure Availability of Safaricom Products e.g., M-PESA Float, Devices and other channels product.
  • Attend the Daily/Weekly/Monthly Call completion.
  • Ensure Right Execution Daily scores (RED)-20 Calls pe day for 5.5 days.
  • Onboard new outlets including Non-Traditional Channels)
  • Attainment of Communicated product availability targets.
  • Assist Territory Business Leads (TBLs) to attain service revenue targets as set by the business.
  • Attend set sales review meetings.

Market Knowledge and Coverage

  • Submit Route Coverage reports and adhere to approved coverage.
  • Share Market Intelligence
  • Support Sale programs to increase market penetration

Branding & Merchandising

  • Support Marketing Activities and Promotions
  • Deploy Merchandising Standards
  • Enable availability of Point of Sale (POS) in agent outlets.
  • Ensure compliance to branding and merchandising standards at outlets respective clusters
  • Ensure attainment of agreed levels of business targets and adherence to re-order levels at all assigned outlets

Requirements

Minimum Experience: 1-2 year’s experience in sales & distribution role preferably FMCG, Telecom & allied industry

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Degree in any relevant field
  • Proficiency in written & spoken English and Swahili
  • Valid Certificate of Good Conduct
